The feelings of injustice resonate for so many, in so many places where intolerance and racism persist.<\/p>\n<p>Ambika Kucheria has distilled her feelings into a poem. One that was found to be so powerful by one of her friends that she took an excerpt from it and put in on a banner, when she went protesting in Hyde Park, London (pictured above).<\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you think it is ok<\/em><br \/>\n<em> To tell that \u2018harmless\u2019 joke.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\nIf you feel that stereotyping<br \/>\nIs natural, or without victim.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you don\u2019t see in your success,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> The shadows of your privilege.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you say \u201cI am not racist,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> But&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you believe some are simply<\/em><br \/>\n<em> \u2018More suited\u2019 for certain jobs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you hope your child won\u2019t bring<\/em><br \/>\n<em> One of \u2018them\u2019 home.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If your idea of beauty<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Is less black, more white.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t talk to me about racism,<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If when the world is on fire<\/em><br \/>\n<em> You choose to stay quiet.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>America may have been the source, and the death of George Floyd the flashpoint, but the anger has spread has across the globe, enveloping many nations and nationalities.
