The Chief guests were Hon\u2019ble Mayor of Chelmsford Jude Deakin and Hon\u2019ble Mayor of Basildon David Burton-Sampson. Gargi from Colchester presented \u2018 Tuntuni r Golpo\u2019 while Iona from Birmingham presented \u2018 Belonging\u2019 &#8211; her own writing. Ritisha from Birmingham presented Mozart piece in viola and also talked about Mozart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Shuvam from Hainault and Rounak from Derby recited Bengali poems.\u00a0Shiva Arya Meera , Lavanya\u2019s students performed Telugu dance. dir=\"auto\">\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Ahana presented \u2018bangla r bayu\u2019 in dance\u00a0 form and also a Rabindranritya. Anirban recited \u2018ekusher daak\u2019 written by Prof Dilip Chakroborty from Presidency College, Kolkata. Anirban, Arpita and Baishali presented bidhayak bhattacharya\u2019s drama \u2018 Tahar Naamti Ranjana\u2019 in audio drama form.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Moumita, Ujjwal and Anirban presented \u2018Amra Korbo Joy\u2019 the Bengali music form of We shall Overcome as a positive spirit to combat Covid 19. Srijon, generation next from Birmingham,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Sutapa from Chelmsford, Moumita from Kent and Anirban from Billericay presented \u2018Ami banglae gaan gai\u2019 &#8211; the song which personalise the Bengali language and emotions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Anirban sang the concluding song \u2018 Ekushe February\u2019 &#8211; the landmark song of Bhasa Dibosh. Arpita recited \u2018 Aamar bhasha\u2019 wriyten by her school mate Sweta Bhattacharya and Dr Fraser described the evolution of Bhasa Dibosh in Scotland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Arpita congratulated Arya and Shuvam for achieving A* (9) in Bengali GCSE students of Maitreya Bengali Club which currently has 19 students.
